Welcome to The GoodLook In Books!
The GoodLook In Books Corp. is a publishing agency that specializes in books that deliver positive messages and creative healing for both children and adults.
We understand all of the details that go into publishing a book and getting it into the hands of eager readers. That’s why we took our publishing knowledge and turned it into a mission—to help others bring their stories to life and become published authors.
Beyond publishing, we also host creative workshops that inspire youth and adults of all abilities to express themselves through poetry, storytelling, and art. These sessions encourage confidence, communication, and healing through creativity—while also offering guidance for those who dream of becoming authors.

ABOUT ME!
Kim “GoodLook” Seabrook is a poet, educator, and 3x published author dedicated to empowering individuals of all ages and abilities through creative expression, healing, and literacy. As the founder of The GoodLook In Books Corp., Kim designs workshops that blend poetry, storytelling, and communication to help people build confidence, discover their voices, and transform challenges into purpose.
She has led programs across New York and beyond with organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters, HASC, JobPath NYC, NYU and Yale University, as well as with Time Out Of Joint, where she became the first woman educator in the program.
Her work—including The GoodLook Kids and Memory Lane: Reminisce with Me Through Healing Poetry, celebrates the power of creativity as a tool for connection, self-discovery, and healing. Through these books, Kim has opened meaningful discussions about bullying, resilience, and emotional wellness, using storytelling to help students and clients process life’s challenges in a positive and creative way.
In Summer 2025, her poetry, performances, and documentary work will be archived in the Library of Congress, honoring her ongoing commitment to resilience, artistry, and community empowerment.

Write your book. When your book is completed and you have the final edited version, we can begin. Once you pay your 50% deposit, you will receive a welcome questionnaire. Once submitted, we will review your responses and your manuscript and begin working on a plan to bring your vision to life.

The GoodLook In Books Poetry Workshop offers several dynamic learning experiences
1. Poetry Fundamentals Workshop
This class is offered as a one-on-one poetry session or a group setting focused on the fundamentals of poetry and the art of creating your own work. Participants explore voice, diction, imagery, figures of speech, symbolism, syntax, sound, rhythm and meter, and structure while discovering their unique creative style.
Perfect for students, adults, and anyone ready to strengthen their writing voice.
2. Creative Expression & Healing Workshop
This class is offered as a one-on-one or group creative experience that that teaches students, how to express themselves creatively. Students will learn self esteem, how to navigate positive relationships with self and others, how to resolve conflict, understanding their creative energy, while reflecting, reminiscing and using imagination through writing, expression and poetry.
Perfect for schools, community programs, and therapeutic settings
3. From Story to Script: Becoming a Published Author
For those ready to turn their creative work into a finished book, this session provides a guided path to authorship. Participants learn how to develop ideas, organize their writing, and navigate the publishing process, from editing and design to distribution, with the support of The GoodLook In
Books Corp.

INVESTMENT:
1 ON 1 PRIVATE VIRTUAL SESSIONS
$90 per 45minutes
for private 1 on 1 sessions
Any additional time will need to be in increments of 15 minutes which will be an additional $22.50 per 15 minutes.
FOR GROUPS OF 4 OR MORE
$150 per hour.
Workshops for 4 or more people. Hourly classes ONLY. You may book more than 1 hour.
Class length and workshop type may vary by organization. Some sessions require a 50% deposit to confirm your booking, with the remaining balance due once services are completed.
